A donation from LHM Charities to The Ability Foundation provided medical and rehabilitative equipment to children whose families lack resources. Dr. Ernest Robinson, director/CEO of the foundation, writes, "With help from people like you, we truly change lives, give freedom and make miracles possible." Best Buddies fosters friendships between individuals with and without intellectual disabilities. These relationships benefit everyone, as stereotypes and barriers that isolate are erased. LHM Charities contributed toward the agency's high school programs. Justin Haskell, state director of Best Buddies Utah, wrote: ". . . (The) gift will help hundreds of kids find friendship." Other organizations receiving funding in recent months include: A Center for Grieving Children, Boys & Girls Clubs of South Valley, Granite Education Foundation, National Ability Center, Caring Foundation for Children, Malileh Free Clinic, Catholic Community Services and HopeKids. LHM Charities also made a substantial Sub for Santa donation that benefited at-risk children in the Salt Lake City and Granite School Districts.
